The 2022 Northern Lights Master Gardeners Association Garden Walk will be held on Saturday, July 30 from 9:00am – 4:00pm (rain or shine). It will focus on six exceptional and unique gardens in the Lake Noquebay, Lake Mary, and Wallace areas. Also included is the Harmony Arboretum/Demonstration Garden. Host gardeners have made this event possible by allowing attendees access to view their beautiful properties. The walk is a self-guided tour and the gardens may be visited in any order. This promises to be an enjoyable day to learn, cultivate new ideas, and generally relax and enjoy nature. Some gardens have stairways, narrow walkways or uneven terrain. Visitors should wear comfortable outdoor attire. The Garden tour ticket includes a map to help visitors plan their itinerary. Included with the ticket is a list of participating restaurants that are in the area and will give a discount (for the day/evening of the Garden Walk only).
Tickets are $10 (age 12 and under are free). Advance tickets are available at Jack’s (Menominee or Marinette-Roosevelt Road), and Pelkin’s Smokey Meat Market (Crivitz). Tickets will also be available the day of the Garden Walk at any of the Garden Walk homes. The exact addresses will be posted on our Facebook page on July 24. Every Sunday, check our Facebook page for a Garden Walk Sneak Peek of one of the gardens – pictures included!
